Monthly CE Offerings
The monthly chapter meetings are either online or at the Kaiser Permanente Campus - Rainier Building -
2715 Naches Ave, Renton, WA, 98057, unless otherwise announced. These CE lunch and learns are the second Thursday of each month from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm, except for the months of June and July.

Join us for WMCMA's May webinar Thursday, May 14th 1.0 CE ! "Hope You Like Alphabet Soup" with Suzanne Thompson Wininger, JD, RN, BSN, BS
Suzanne Thompson Wininger has been a licensed Registered Nurse over 30
years and an attorney since 2002, graduating from Gonzaga School of Law. She
has a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from the University of
California, Davis and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University
of Mary Hardin Baylor.
Her unique combination of nursing and legal knowledge allows her to provide a
boutique service to her clients. She believes the focus of an individual should
always be on their abilities. Her favorite roles as an attorney involve serving as
a litigating guardian ad litem, court visitor, probate guardian ad litem, &
settlement guardian ad litem.
Suzanne and her husband have three girls who are 27 (Go Zags!), 31 and 33
(Go Cougs!). She is enamored with her grandkiddos! She is a huge fan of Zag
Women’s Soccer, SydneyFC and BrooklynFC. If she could look for Sea Glass,
with a cat while listening to books, she’d be the happiest!
Objectives
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of why there are different neutral court investigator appointments
- Accurately describe at least 2 neutral court investigators/investigations you may encounter in case management
- Identify at least two ways case management individuals can assist in the court investigator performing their role
- Recognize how these different court investigator roles can make it difficult in case management
